Following on from the exciting news about the granting of an A-League Women’s licence, Central Coast Mariners have moved quickly to put in place the coaching set-up for the 2021/22 WNPL season which will set the platform for A-League Women in 2022. The Mariners continue their desire to create more opportunities for girls to help grow the women’s game on the Coast. As part of this process, the Mariners have applied for a Girls SAP licence with Football NSW which will encompass the age range of U10-U13s.
The A-Leagues today announce the signing of Isuzu UTE Australia (IUA) as the first naming rights partner of its men’s competition, which will be officially known as the ‘Isuzu UTE A-League Men’. The three-year partnership marks the latest milestone in the A-Leagues’ ambitious growth and commercial development strategy.
The Central Coast Mariners are pleased to announce that right-back Storm Roux has re-joined the club on a one-year deal after spending three years with Melbourne Victory. Roux racked up over 100 appearances in yellow and navy, spanning five years between 2013 and 2018 and will be welcomed back to the Coast after making 72 appearances for Melbourne Victory and amassing over 14,000 minutes of A-League football in total.
In regards to the recently announced A-League fixtures, the Central Coast Mariners would like to advise our partners, members and supporters that our scheduled home matches are currently listed as “TBC” whilst we work through options available to the club. This is because a venue hire agreement for Central Coast Stadium is still pending by Central Coast Council and not yet finalised for any of our A-League or next season's W-League matches at Central Coast Stadium.
It is with great delight that the Central Coast Mariners can announce they have become even better “mates” with their good friends at MATE as they take on the role of major sponsor for the 2021/22 season. Having been the Mariners co-major partner since 2018, MATE has taken on the full role as Major Sponsor for the club and will be on the front of both home and away jerseys for the 2021/22 season along with the sleeve on all Academy jerseys as well. Mariners CEO Shaun Mielekamp echoed the delight that many at the club are having in this new partnership.

Under the five-year agreement struck between Professional Footballers Australia (PFA) and the Australian Professional Leagues (APL), genuine equity in high performance standards in the A-League and W-League have been enshrined to create a “world-class workplace” for all the nation’s players.
