Inaugurated in 2004, Central Coast Mariners FC is proud to be the first ever professional sporting entity to represent the Central Coast region on a national and international sporting stage.
In the A-League Men, the Mariners are one of the most successful clubs and one of six foundation clubs remaining from the inaugural 2005-06 A-League season, competing annually for the ultimate prize in Australian Club football.
Our three A-League Men’s Championships ranks third in the all-time winners list whilst we also have three Premierships, six Grand Final appearances, four AFC Champions League campaigns and one AFC Cup.
The 2023/24 season was the most successful in the club’s history, and the most successful in Australian history as we became the first A-League team to ever win a treble with the A-League Premiers Plate, Championship, and the AFC Cup under Mark Jackson.
2023/24 also saw the reintroduction of our A-League Women’s team after 14 years out of the competition. Under Emily Husband, we have quickly established ourselves as one of the top teams, finishing fifth and making the semi-finals in our return campaign before lifting our first ever Women’s Championship in just our second season.
Academy and Alumni Stories
The Mariners’ philosophy is centred around developing some of Australia’s finest young male and female footballers, from scouting local players and nurturing talent in the highly-regarded Mariners Academy, through to the first team and onto the world stage.
Our Alumni list is staggering, including a number of past and current Socceroos such as Tom Rogic and Maty Ryan who both began their careers in the Mariners Academy before moving onto the heights of European football, representing the likes of Celtic, Valencia, Arsenal and Roma.
Current stars at the Mariners include Annalise Rasmussen, a local product who was the club’s first player signed to our reinstated Women’s team, Tiana Fuller, a 16-year-old who has earned comparisons to Sam Kerr after a stunning breakout season. Izzy Gomez is our latest Matilda after making her debut on June 2nd against Argentina, whilst Jessika Nash and Taylor Ray have also represented Australia at senior level.
Dylan Peraic-Cullen, Haine Eames and Arthur De Lima are among the brightest future prospects at the Mariners, all current representatives of Australia at youth level after their breakout seasons in 2024/25.
The Community Club
Aside from on-field success and player development, a huge part of the Mariners’ identity is our Community connection. We regularly pledge our support to a variety of initiatives that we believe enhance not only our Club brand, but also the lives of people within the Central Coast community. We are The Community Club who call the beautiful Industree Group Stadium home.
As a club, our overarching goal is to become the most innovative, entertaining and community minded sports brand in Australia.
Our record is strong, and our future bright.
