In our continued search for high standard coaches and players the Mariners are accepting Expressions of Interest across the following programs:

Youth NPL – Expression of Interest 2026/2027

The Central Coast Mariners Academy is inviting Expressions of Interest from talented and ambitious footballers seeking to develop within a high-performance youth football environment.

The Academy provides a professional pathway focused on player development, performance improvement, and preparation for higher levels of the game.

Academy Purpose
The purpose of the Central Coast Mariners Academy is to identify, develop, and prepare talented football players for progression through the football pathway, including future opportunities within the Central Coast Mariners FC system.
Our objectives are to:

Develop players through expert coaching across the technical, tactical, physical, and psychological aspects of football.

Improve individual and team performance through a structured training environment aligned with the Central Coast Mariners playing philosophy.

Create a clear pathway from Youth NPL through Academy programs and towards senior football opportunities.

Develop players who demonstrate professionalism, discipline, leadership, resilience, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Player Expectations

Players selected for the Central Coast Mariners Academy Youth program are expected to:

Commit fully to all 3 x training sessions per week, matches, meetings, and player development activities.
Are focused, and ready to perform in a professional training environment.
Demonstrate a strong desire to improve and consistently challenge themselves, with confidence, resilience, accountability, focus, competitiveness, and willingness to learn
Accept coaching feedback and apply it to improve individual and team performance.
Demonstrate respect for teammates, coaches, opponents, referees, and the game.
Represent the Central Coast Mariners Academy with pride, professionalism, and humility on and off the field.

Academy Purpose

The purpose of the Central Coast Mariners Academy is to identify, develop, and prepare talented football players for higher levels of the game.

Our objectives are to:

Develop players through high-quality coaching across the technical, tactical, physical, and mental aspects of football.
Create a clear pathway from junior football through Academy teams and into the Central Coast Mariners FC A-League squads.
Support personal growth by promoting discipline, teamwork, leadership, resilience, and a lifelong enjoyment of football.

Player Expectations

Players selected for the Central Coast Mariners Academy JDL program are expected to:

Attend all scheduled training sessions and matches throughout the season.
Arrive prepared, focused, and ready to learn.
Train with enthusiasm, effort, and a positive attitude.
Listen to coaches and apply feedback to improve.
Develop technical skills, football understanding, decision-making, and teamwork.
Show respect for teammates, coaches, opponents, referees, and the game.
Demonstrate discipline, resilience, and a willingness to challenge themselves.
Represent the Central Coast Mariners Academy with pride, humility, and professionalism on and off the field.
