As a result of the expected extreme heatwave conditions in Victoria on Tuesday 27 December, the APL has today made the decision to update the kick-off time of our upcoming Isuzu UTE A-League Men fixture in Melbourne in line with the APL Heat Policy.Â
The APL Heat Policy states that if the ambient temperature approaches 40°C and/or the Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT) exceeds 28°C that matches should be delayed or postponed. In addition, drinks breaks should be implemented if the ambient temperature is in excess of 31°C and/or the WBGT is between 26°C and 27.9°C.
The APL has moved the kick-off time for the Isuzu UTE A-League Men match between Melbourne City FC and the Central Coast Mariners to 5:30pm (AEDT).Â
