Central Coast Mariners youngster Peta Trimis starred again as Australia U20 Women made it two wins from two in the AFC U20 Women’s Asia Cup, with a 2-0 win over host nation Uzbekistan in Group A.
Trimis was the catalyst of a second half comeback against South Korea in the opening match on Sunday, netting an equaliser in the 73rd minute before Australia made it 2-1 late on.

And on Wednesday, our teenage sensation was the star of the show as she scored and assisted in a 2-0 win over hosts Uzbekistan.
Trimis set up Melbourne City’s Daniela Galic to open the scoring after five minutes. After some intricate build up play around the box, Trimis managed to find Galic who took two tidy touches before slotting home.
Trimis then made it 2-0 herself, latching on to a long pass, controlling and calmly slotting home for her second international goal.
