Central Coast Mariners are in discussions with its legal representatives and senior Football Federation Australia (FFA) officials regarding a statement by Wellington Phoenix regarding Michael McGlinchey.

Club Chairman and majority owner, Mr Michael Charlesworth, said: “We are currently seeking legal advice to prevent Michael from playing for any Club without our authority from now until 1 January 2015, the day that he is expected back at the Mariners to fulfil his contract.”
The Club will update its members, supporters and media regarding this matter in due course.
