Central Coast Mariners will have representatives in action all across the globe in the upcoming May / June international fixtures.
Emily Husband links up with the Matildas Coaching Staff on Monday, where she will continue to work with star player Izzy Gomez, whilst a number of Central Coast Mariners players have been called up to represent Australia at Youth level.
The Mariners have representatives throughout the age groups in the Men’s June FIFA Men’s International Window, from the Olyroos down to the Joeys, whilst Husband and Gomez will represent Australia at the highest level in the Women as they link up with the Matildas.
Bianca Galic will also be on International Duty as she heads to Europe to represent Croatia Women’s National Team in the UEFA Women’s Nations League.
Below is your complete guide of all your Mariners in action throughout May-June, so you can keep track of their progress.
Before we get into it, we must give a special mention to former Mariner Max Balard, who has finally been given a hard-earned first call-up to the Socceroos following a stellar first season in Europe with NAC Breda.
Max joins the Socceroos squad, which may not have any current Mariners in this time around, but contains as many as six Mariners alumni for a training camp and important fixtures against Japan (H – Perth) and Saudi Arabia (A).
🇦🇺 CommBank Matildas: Emily Husband and Isabel Gomez
Our Grand Final winning Head Coach will assist interim boss Tom Sermanni for upcoming friendlies against Argentina, having been included in the FA Team of Coaches initiative alongside the only other female Ninja A-League Head Coach Kat Smith (Western United) as well as Melissa Barbieri (Melbourne City Goalkeeper/Coach) and Catherine Canulli (Young Matildas Coach).
After starring in the Ninja A-League this season, no more so than in our Grand Final victory where she was named Player of the Match, Gomez will be looking to make her long-awaited Matildas debut in this camp.
The 22-year-old was called up for the first time earlier this season, but was cruelly denied the opportunity due to injury. This time she arrives in camp fit, full of confidence and ready to continue her meteoric rise in 2025.

Our penalty-winning hero will dust herself down from Grand Final celebrations to head off to Europe where she will represent Croatia for the third time.
Croatia have two tough fixtures ahead of them in the Women’s Nations League as they look to get off the mark in Group Four, taking on first placed Ukraine and second placed Czech Republic.
