Central Coast Mariners make the short trip to Newcastle Jets on Saturday evening, for the third and final F3 Derby of the Isuzu UTE A-League season.
The Mariners are looking to maintain a strong recent run against the Jets, who have not got the better of us in the last seven meetings.
In the previous two meetings this season, the Mariners won 2-1 at Unite Round early in the season before the Jets snatched a 2-2 draw at Our Paradise in February.

🔎 Newcastle Jets
Jets hit their best patch of the season after the draw at Our Paradise in Round 17 as they won the next three, but have faltered of late and are now without a win in their last three after defeats at home to Western (6-2) and most recently Wellington (2-1) either side of a 3-3 draw away to Macarthur.
Their standout player has been Eli Adams who has continued his development and impressed since joining from Melbourne Victory at the start of the season.
The 23-year-old was recently voted PFA Player of the Month for March, to go alongside A-League goal of the month.
Adams has seven goals for the season which makes him the Jets’ top scorer, with four of those coming in his last six games.
🗣 Mark Jackson:
Jacko spoke about what the derby means to him, as he looks to continue an unbeaten record in this fixture with four wins and a draw since taking over at the beginning of the 23/24 campaign.
🗣 Nathan Paull
Paully was on target in the most recent F3 Derby back in February and he is keen to replicate that ‘amazing’ feeling in a fixture that he knows means so much to the club and fans.
