Mariners sign Brazilian striker Moresche
After a lengthy wait, the Central Coast Mariners are finally pleased to announce the signing of Matheus Celestino Moresche Rodrigues on a two-year deal. The Brazilian was linked to the club more than a month ago, and after having to work through a number of Government protocols to enter our country, the club can finally claim that he will be wearing yellow and navy this season. Commonly known as Moresche, the Brazilian has most recently been playing in the Singapore Premier League for Geylang International where he was involved in 15 goals over 21 games.

Key Details: FFA Cup in Mudgee
The Central Coast Mariners will be heading to Mudgee for their Round of 32 FFA Cup clash against Blacktown City on November 13! Kicking off at 5pm, the match will be held at Glen Willow Sporting Complex in Mudgee and tickets will be on sale from 9:00am on Thursday 28th October. Limited tickets are available for this match, so it is recommended to pre-purchase before the match to avoid disappointment.

Strong Mariners performance dispatches Macarthur FC in pre-season friendly
The Central Coast Mariners hosted Macarthur FC at the Mariners Centre of Excellence on Tuesday morning in a pre-season friendly. Nick Montgomery named a similar eleven to Saturday’s friendly at the Wanderers, with Harry Steele, Ruon Tongyik and Nicolai Müller replacing Dan Hall, Josh Nisbet and Marco Ureña in the starting lineup.

Mariners get valuable minutes of action in pre-season friendly against Wanderers
The Central Coast Mariners played their first pre-season match under Head Coach Nick Montgomery against Western Sydney Wanderers at Wanderers Football Park on Saturday 23rd October. It was the perfect opportunity to get minutes into legs in what turned out to be very hot conditions in Western Sydney and the match started in a competitive manner with both sides testing each other out early on.

North Construction & Building continue support of women’s football
North Construction & Building have continued their support of the Mariners and women’s football taking up the front of the shorts partnership across all five women’s Academy teams for the 2021/22 NPL season. This is a partnership that has a long-lasting history, most notably symbolized by North’s construction of the Central Coast Mariners Centre of Excellence at Tuggerah. North have a great association with the Central Coast region and they work with many local organisations to improve outcomes for the community.

Central Coast Mariners launch Girls SAP Program
The Central Coast Mariners are delighted to announce that the opportunity and development of girls’ football has increased, with Football NSW granting a Girls Skills Acquisition Licence to the Mariners Academy. GSAP is for ages of U10,U11,U12 and U13 and these teams underpin the Central Coast Mariners WNPL program which in turn will support the A-League Women’s program next year. Mariners Head of Football Ken Schembri spoke about how this will provide steps in the right direction in terms of the club’s development.
