The Central Coast Mariners- National Youth League campaign will be taken to Budgewoi-s Frank Millington Field in the New Year, when the Mariners host the Perth Glory on Saturday, 3 January at 10.30am.
Originally set for Pluim Park on the same date, the Round 15 match up has been moved to the Mariners- occasional Budgewoi training base to allow Pluim Park time to recover from major off-season works on its playing surface.
Frank Millington Field, the home of reigning Central Coast Premier League Minor Premiers Budgewoi FC, is commonly regarded as the premier football facility on the Central Coast and, since early 2008, has served the Mariners as a training base.
Entry to this match will be free, with the Frank Millington Field gates opening at 9.30am.
“The Budgewoi Soccer Club and Budgewoi FC have been simply tremendous supporters of the Mariners for much of the past year and we-re indebted for the hospitality they have offered us since we first used their outstanding facilities,” said Mariners Executive Chairman Lyall Gorman.
“We thank Budgewoi Soccer Club for their assistance again on this occasion and look forward to working with them in the New Year to put on what I-m sure will be a memorable National Youth League spectacle.”
The Mariners- National Youth League campaign continues at the EnergyAustralia Stadium home of northern rivals the Newcastle Jets on Friday, 26 December. Kick off is at 5.15pm.
The Mariners- NYL squad is next on the Central Coast on Saturday, 3 January when they host the Perth Glory at Budgewoi-s Frank Millington Field. Kick off is at 10.30am and admission is free.
