Members are the foundation of any football club and whether its renewing an existing Membership or jumping on board for the first time, it cannot be understated how important Members support is to the Mariners success.

All existing Members should now have received their renewal notices in the mail, and can take advantage of an exclusive renewal period until Friday 29 July.

With new Memberships on sale from Monday 1 August – with an early bird offer until 12 August – Central Coast Mariners Chairman, Mr Peter Turnbull said he hopes all fans will take the initiative to support the club this campaign.

ā€œWe are delighted to offer all fans this chance to be a Member of the Mariners,ā€ Turnbull said. ā€œWe have been listening to Member issues over the last six seasons, and have worked hard to produce packages which cater for the wishes of our supporter base.ā€

Never before have our packages been so flexible with NEW 3 & 6 game part-season Memberships and family packages able to accommodate varying numbers of children. Families can save up to $436 on normal match day ticket prices and junior prices are the lowest they-ve been in our history.

In addition, the Mariners have again teamed up with Major Partners Ausgrid and Central Coast Football to provide all Central Coast football registered players 16-and-under a FREE General Admission Membership.

The joint initiative – known as Ausgrid Mariners- Mates – ensures the Mariners can continue building their strong youth following, while at the same time providing junior football fans the best opportunity to see their team in action live at Bluetongue Stadium.

Central Coast Football Chairman, Mr Darren Sprod today welcomed his associations continued partnership with the Mariners.

ā€œWe-re delighted to again team up with the Mariners and Ausgrid in offering free Memberships to the junior footballers of the Central Coast,ā€ Sprod said. ā€œI know the players get a massive buzz from their home support, so hopefully our junior players take advantage of this wonderful offer and support their local A-League team.ā€

The Ausgrid Mariners Mates program includes some high profile players becoming electrical safety ambassadors.

Ausgrid Managing Director George Maltabarow said Ausgrid had been working with the football club over the past five years to make use of its close connections with grass roots community organisations, to deliver important electrical safety messages.

ā€œWe know that young people living on the Central Coast look up to these sporting heroes, so this partnership is a great opportunity to support the local football community and help keep them safe around the electricity network,ā€ Mr Maltabarow said.

Furthermore, Platinum, Gold and Blue Mariners Members will each receive four ā€œbring a friend for freeā€ passes in a bid to introduce new people to the excitement and passion involved with the Central Coast Mariners.

In conjunction with launching the season 2011/12 Membership program, the Mariners have also launched a sleek new website – www.ccmariners-memberships.com.au – devoted entirely to Memberships.

Simple to navigate, the website provides all the information needed for fans to decide which great value Mariners Membership package suits them, their family and friends.

This season, 12 of the Mariners 13 home matches will be played on Saturday evenings in prime time, with the team never away from Bluetongue Stadium for more than two games in a row.

The Mariners will also host fiercest rivals Newcastle Jets twice in Gosford, while the clubs- annual New Years Eve fixture will again take place with Gold Coast United the opponents on the final day of 2011.

ā€œA lot of focus has been put into our 2011/12 Membership program and we now need each and every one of our supporters to become a Member of the club for the season ahead,ā€ Turnbull added.
