CENTRAL Coast Mariners venture north to Queensland this week for Friday-s round 19 Hyundai A-League clash with Brisbane Roar.
Both sides claimed victory in the latest round of A-League action, with the Mariners securing a 3-1 home triumph over Adelaide United, while Brisbane recorded a 1-0 win away to Perth Glory in Western Australia.
A second half double by substitute Mitchell Duke and a late Michael McGlinchey strike secured Graham Arnold-s team their second win of 2013. Indeed, the yellow and navy are unbeaten this calendar year.
Meanwhile on Saturday, James Meyer-s first half goal earned Roar their win in the west.
The Mariners and Roar last met in Hyundai A-League round 8, with Central Coast claiming a 2-1 win at Gosford’s idyllic bayside arena.
Kick-off in Friday-s match at Suncorp Stadium is at 8:00pm AEDT (7:00pm local).
