Central Coast Mariners Head Coach Graham Arnold has named an 18-player squad for the Club’s opening round Hyundai A-League 2013/14 clash with Western Sydney Wanderers at Bluetongue Stadium.
Central Coast Mariners Head Coach Graham Arnold has named an 18-player squad for the Club-s opening round Hyundai A-League 2013/14 clash with Western Sydney Wanderers at Bluetongue Stadium.
New recruits Marcel Seip, Marcos Flores, Liam Reddy, Storm Roux, Matt Simon and Tom Slater have all been included in Arnold-s first squad of the new campaign.
First team regulars Daniel McBreen and Michael McGlinchey are unavailable for the blockbuster contest at Bluetongue Stadium and have been omitted from the squad.
McBreen is on loan with Shanghai SIPG of the Chinese Super League until October 31, while McGlinchey is currently in the United States of America with the New Zealand National Team.
Young gun Michael Neill and striker Adam Kwasnik have also been left out of the squad due to injury. Neill is in full training with the Club-s first team squad following an off-season ankle injury, and is close to returning to full fitness.
Kwasnik suffered a groin strain in training last week and will not be risked for the Round 1 encounter.
