Central Coast Mariners Player Update

The Central Coast Mariners can confirm the permanent transfer of Mikael Doka to Brazilian second division side, Operario Ferroviario Esporte Clube, for an undisclosed fee.

Doka spent the last six months on loan with Japanese J2 side Ventforet Kofu before finalising a move back to his homeland.

Doka – who was an important part of the club’s historic treble season – made 78 appearances across all competitions, finding the back of the net 13 times and assisting 19 goals in his two seasons at the Mariners.

Goalkeeper, Adam Pavlesic will also depart the club by mutual agreement. The 23 year old made one senior A-League appearance for the club during his time at the Mariners. Alexi and James Houridis will also depart during the January transfer period.

The Club would like to thank Mikael, Adam, Alexi and James for their contribution to the Mariners and wish them both the best for the future.
