On loan attacker Bernie Ibini and young defender Hayden Morton have been added to the squad that drew 0-0 with Melbourne Heart in Hyundai A-League round 13.
The Mariners possess a strong record in the New Zealand capital, having won four of their last five fixtures at the ‘Cake Tin-.
Central Coast will travel to Sydney on Friday before heading across the Tasman Sea on Saturday in readiness for Sunday-s encounter.
Wellington Phoenix promise to provide a stern test for the third placed Mariners, with the Ernie Merrick-s men having won their past three Hyundai A-League matches.
Belgian marksman Stein Huysegems is one player the Mariners will need to mark closely – the former Feyenoord Rotterdam frontman has netted six goals this campaign, including four in the ‘Nix-s past three matches.
The two teams last met on Thursday 19 December at North Sydney Oval, with Kiwi Storm Roux scoring the only goal of the game as the Mariners won 1-0.
