CENTRAL Coast Mariners enjoyed record Membership numbers last Hyundai A-League campaign with over 3,600 supporters committing to the Club for the Premiership winning season.
With just under two months until kick-off in season eight of Australia-s top flight, the yellow and navy have set a target to secure 5,000 Members for the 2012/13 campaign.
And should the Mariners reach the figure, one Member (new or existing) will win a lifetime Membership with the Club.
Central Coast Mariners Coach, Graham Arnold, believes the importance of Members to a Club like the Mariners cannot be understated.
“The Central Coast is a great community and I know first-hand how much the boys love playing in front of our fans,” Arnold said.
“The more Members the Club can secure, the bigger the crowd and the better the atmosphere on game day.”
“Members are integral to our Club and we-d love to be able to set a new record figure for this season and crack the 5,000 Member mark.”
Meanwhile, more than 3,500 footballers under the age of 16 from Central Coast Football, Ku-ring-gai District Soccer Association and Gladesville Hornsby Football Association have already activated their complimentary Ausgrid Mariners Mates season pass.
2,900 junior players from CCF, KDSA and GHFA activated their free season pass last season.
