VIDEO: Moss’ message for magnificent Mariners Member

James, a Central Coast Mariners Member is currently in the Middle East as part of Operation OKRA combating the ISIL terrorist threat in Iraq.

To help keep James’ spirits up and remind him of the Central Coast, the Club has arranged for a signed flag to be sent to his base.

We’ve learnt that James’ Sargeant is a Western Sydney Wanderers supporter, so the flag ought to inspire a bit of banter between the pair as they talk Hyundai A-League during their down time!

Watch the video above as the Club’s Head Coach Phil Moss voices a special message for James who is doing his family, his country, the Central Coast region and the Mariners proud overseas.

Operation OKRA is the Australian Defence Force’s contribution to the international effort to combat the ISIL terrorist threat in Iraq.

Australia’s contribution is being closely coordinated with the Iraqi government, Gulf nations and a broad coalition of international partners.

James has been a Member since season two and was a ball-boy for the Club in the FIFA Club World Cup Qualification Competition in 2005.

Keep up the great work, James!Â
