Central Coast Football Manager Mark Jackson has made two changes from the side that were beaten by Sydney FC at the weekend.
Nathan Paull and Miguel Di Pizio come into the starting eleven, as Bradley Tapp and Christian Theoharous move to the bench.
Jackson gave some of his tactical thoughts, speaking to the press on Monday morning.
“Looking at their recent games, Melbourne City have added a bit more of a high press of late so we feel like they will come after us.” Jackson said.
“We have tweaked a few things with how we are going to approach the game and even with a short turnaround we feel we have got the information across to the players and we have clarity on what we want to do.
We have to be brave in how we want to play.

⏮ Previously against Melbourne City
An eagerly anticipated fixture on every A-League’s fan calendar after our Grand Final meeting last season, the two clashes with Melbourne City so far this season have certainly not disappointed.
Our scintillating 3-3 draw back in December saw both sides lead in the 90 minutes, before ultimately sharing the points at AAMI Park and included a fantastic Angel Torres hat-trick.
Angel was the Mariners’ hero once again in a fiery contest here in January, our number 11 danced into the box to net a late winner after Steven Urgakovic cancelled out Christian Theoharous’ opener.
The last time we hosted Melbourne City, it was an 88th minute winner from Angel Torres that secured us the three points! 🔥

Arslan also leads City’s scoring charts with eight, joint with renowned A-League marksman Jamie Maclaren.
