The Central Coast Mariners and Central Coast Football (CCF) are pleased to announce that both entities will work collaboratively in the best interest of football on the Central Coast after settling all previous disputes.

Central Coast Mariners Executive Vice Chairman, Peter Storrie and Central Coast Football General Manager Darren Sprod have worked tirelessly to reach a mutually beneficial relationship that will see football grow in the local area.

Storrie was delighted to reach an agreement that himself, Darren Sprod (CCF General Manager), Ken Schembri (CCF Football Manager) and the CCF Board were able to agree upon, resulting in a mutually beneficial relationship moving forward.

“Developing a productive and positive relationship with Central Coast Football has been one of my top priorities since arriving on the Central Coast and reaching an agreement with Darren, Ken & the CCF Board is a huge step in the right direction for this club,” Storrie said.

The Central Coast Mariners and Central Coast Football will now be able to work together to market both entities and ultimately improve the participation of football at a grass roots level as well as the engagement levels with the Hyundai A-League. The announcement comes on the day of Central Coast Football’s 2015 Season Launch to be held tonight.

“It is no secret that in the past there has been a strain our relationship but since Peter has arrived it is clear that he is steering the ship in the right direction and we are delighted to be working more closely with the Mariners again,” Sprod said.
