Squad News: Round 20 v Brisbane Roar

Squad News: Round 20 v Brisbane Roar

Mike Mulvey has named an extended squad of players who are eligible for selection on the eve of Friday’s match up against Brisbane Roar.

With yesterday’s announcement that Tommy Oar’s knee injury has ruled him out for the season, Tom Hiariej also joins the injury ward having sustained a groin injury at training on Tuesday. The early prognosis is that Hiariej will be sidelined for at least the next few weeks.

Kye Rowles becomes re-eligible for selection after serving a one-week-suspension for an accumulation of yellow cards.

Coming back from injury, Jake McGing has returned to full training with the team after sustaining a hamstring injury the last time we faced Brisbane in Round 14. Corey Gameiro also continues his rehabilitation on a calf injury.
