The Central Coast Mariners next and last stop of the Hyundai A-League pre-season is the Sunshine Coast to face John Aloisi’s Brisbane Roar on Saturday evening.
Tony Walmsley’s men will fly to Queensland’s Sunshine Coast over the weekend to take on Brisbane in what will be their last Hyundai A-League opposition before the season proper kicks off on October 10 at Central Coast Stadium.
The test will prove as an important selection step for Walmsley’s players who are competing hard for every position across the park.
“We play Brisbane Roar on the Sunshine Coast which is another opportunity for players to get out there and put themselves in the frame for the first game,” Walmsley said.
With just over two weeks until Hyundai A-League Round one, the boys in Yellow & Navy will be looking to put in strong performances to give themselves every chance of featuring in Walmsley’s starting XI at the start of the season.
Central Coast Mariners Members and fans must also lock Saturday October 3 into their calendars that is the last opportunity to meet our players, see them in an 11 v 11 hit out and stock up on new merch’ at Family Day before October 10.
