Central Coast Mariners are proud to announce a landmark partnership with polytec, the leading brand of Australian Made and Owned cabinet doors and decorative surfaces for residential and commercial interiors.
This exciting collaboration will see polytec, part of the Borg Group, prominently displayed as the front of shirt sponsor for the Mariners’ Isuzu UTE A-League Men’s team, solidifying a five-year agreement that commences with the upcoming season.
This partnership marks a significant milestone for the Mariners, being the largest commercial deal signed in the club’s history. The polytec brand, born from humble beginnings on the Central Coast, now a stalwart in the Australian manufacturing and distribution of decorative surfaces, is celebrated for its commitment to quality and sustainability. As extension the partnership aligns with both organisations’ shared values of excellence, innovation, and community engagement.
Alyssar Narey, CEO of Central Coast Mariners, expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership: “We are thrilled to welcome polytec to the Mariners’ family. As a National Australian brand with founders who are from the Central Coast, their dedication to innovation and excellence aligns perfectly with our club’s values. This partnership not only strengthens our team’s presence on the field but also highlights our commitment to forging strong relationships with leading businesses in our community.”
John Borg, Managing Director of the Borg Group, echoed these sentiments: “We are proud to partner with the Central Coast Mariners, a club that embodies the spirit of our community and excellence. At Borg, we strive to be leaders in our industry, and this partnership with the Mariners allows us to support a team that shares our passion for community, success and innovation. We look forward to a strong collaboration over the next five years.”
As the new front of shirt sponsor, polytec will be revealed in the coming weeks on our 24/25 Isuzu UTE A League season kits. Mariners fans can look forward to seeing the new kits unveiled adorned with the distinctive polytec branding.
The partnership extends to the Mariners’ academies, which will now carry the Borg name, further aligning with the company’s commitment to community development and supporting local talent. This initiative highlights both organisations’ dedication to fostering the next generation of football stars and creating lasting impacts within the Central Coast region.
“The direction and new initiatives we are undertaking as a club are greatly supported by this partnership,” Narey added. “Naming rights to our academies align perfectly with our community pillar, enhancing our ability to nurture local talent and contribute positively to the community.”
The Central Coast Mariners and Borg are excited about the potential this partnership holds, both on and off the field. Together, we aim to create community engagement, and enhance possibilities for the Central Coast region.
