Young goalkeeper Paul Izzo joined the Central Coast Mariners after making seven appearances for Adelaide United between 2011 and 2015. Albeit in different colours, Izzo had the great pleasure of making his Hyundai A-League debut at Central Coast Stadium as a 17-year-old during the Hyundai A-League 2011/12 season. Izzo is a product of the Australian Institute of Sport program and spent his junior years with Campbelltown City. Izzo has also gained solid experience at national youth level, playing at the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Turkey for the Young Socceroos, as well as with the Joeys at the 2011 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Mexico.
