If you’re looking for a football fix this international break, Pluim Park will be hosting both the men and women Academy sides this Sunday.

Central Coast Mariners Academy Men vs. Rydalmere Lions FC

After having last week’s game against St George City washed out, the men’s academy will be raring to go and keep the momentum they built in the first two rounds.

Having secured a draw and a win against two tough opponents, the men now face a difficult challenge in Rydalmere Lions who currently sit 4th on the NPL 2 ladder.

Rydalmere Lions are coming off a narrow 3-2 loss against GHFA Spirit FC after winning their first two games of the season.

This fixture will also provide the players who are on the verge of the A-League squad a chance to impress caretaker manager Alan Stajcic.

Central Coast Mariners Academy Women vs. SD Raiders FC

The women also had their round two fixture against St George FC washed out but will still have the confidence after their 3-0 win in the first game of the season.

The yellow and navy take on a dangerous SD Raiders outfit who finished 3rd in last seasons NPL 2 and were defeated by the Mariners women in the preliminary final.

SD Raiders started strongly with a 4-0 win in the first round and Dan Barrett will know his women will have to be at the top of their game if they want to grab all three points.
