Central Coast Mariners utility Matt Sim was presented with a tribute for his four goals in the Club’s Westfield FFA Cup quarterfinal win over Palm Beach Sharks following training on Tuesday.
Two weeks ago, Sim came off the bench to score a stunning four goals in 23 second half minutes as the Mariners won 5-0 to advance to the semi-finals of Australia’s freshly founded Cup competition.
Club CEO Bruce Stalder and Head Coach Phil Moss presented Sim with a match ball signed by the Club’s full squad and framed in a glass box with the details of his achievement emblazoned on the front.
Central Coast Mariners will discover its semi-final opponent for the Westfield FFA Cup 2014 following the final two quarter-finals in the competition to be played on Wednesday 29 October.
