Central Coast Mariners star Storm Roux played 90 minutes of international football overnight as New Zealand’s All Whites fell 3-1 to Uzbekistan in Tashkent.
The game at the Pahktakor Stadium saw Odil Akhmedov score twice and former AFC Player of the Year Server Djeparov once for the hosts, while Jeremy Brockie netted a consolation goal for Anthony Hudson’s side.
Roux spent a week in Doha, Qatar, training at the Aspire Zone before shifting to Uzbekistan where they took on the ‘White Wolves’.
Roux will return to the Mariners this week.
