The Central Coast Mariners can today confirm that Goalkeeping Coach Matt Nash will part ways with the club.
‘Nashy’ joined the Mariners as a shot stopper in 2008, and was part of the squad for the 2008/09 season and later returned in 2014/15. After an opportunity arose to move into a coaching position in 2015, Nash retired from the playing squad and was an integral part of the coaching staff for the past 4 seasons.
“I want to thank the club and the fans for their support over the past 5 or so years” Nash said.
“Both as a player and a coach, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time on the Central Coast. There are really great people at the club and they work so hard day in, day out and give everything to the Mariners. It’s sad to leave those people, but it’s come time to look at the next step in my career.
“I wish the club all the best, I really do. The Mariners are a fantastic community club and I hope they turn things around and get back to their winning ways.
The Central Coast Mariners wish Matt Nash the best with his future endeavours.
