NEWS: Mariners Youth seal first win

Central Coast Mariners’ Foxtel National Youth League outfit scored their first win of the season on Sunday, defeating Adelaide United Youth 1-0 at Adelaide Shores Football Centre in South Australia.

Young attacker Sam Perre netted for the second week in a row for Stu Jacobs’ side moved up the competition ladder and into sixth place in the ten-team competition.

Perre’s goal came in the 78th minute when he made his way into the box before curling the ball into the top right corner beyond Reds custodian Paul Izzo.

Central Coast Mariners Youth’s next match in the Foxtel National Youth League is away to Western Sydney Wanderers Youth on Sunday 23 November. The boys take on the junior red and blacks at Blacktown International Sports Park, with kick-off at 4:00pm.
