Central Coast Mariners will look to make the most of their three-day trip to Mudgee this weekend, with a number of community appearances plus a trial match against Newcastle Jets scheduled for the Club’s visit to western New South Wales.
On Friday, the yellow and navy’s Community Football Coordinator, Adam Kwasnik, will hold a Newcastle Permanent MarinersACTIVE session for the kids at Cudgegong Valley Public School. From 9:00am, Kwasnik will help over 150 kids at the school get active and have fun through football.
On Saturday, two Mariners players will make a visit to Newcastle Permanent’s Mudgee Branch on Church Street. The players will meet and greet customers and fans in store, and be available for autographs and photos between 9:30am and 10:30am.
Later that afternoon, the squad will venture to the impressive Glen Willow Regional Sporting Stadium to take on archrivals Newcastle Jets in an important pre-season clash. With just a few weeks to go until the Mariners take on their regional rivals in their first game of Hyundai A-League season 10, the game will provide either side with the opportunity to gain a mental edge before their Hyundai A-League encounter at Central Coast Stadium on October 11. The trial will be streamed live online at www.CCMariners.com.au.
And on Sunday morning, the Mariners’ players and coaching staff will be back at Glen Willow to help train local footballers from 10:00am. After a 45 minute coaching clinic, our players and staff will be available to sign autographs for the participants in the session.
