The highly anticipated, long-awaited final episode of the Mariners- ground breaking, nine-part documentary series will hit television screens nationwide at 7:30pm just five days before the Club-s Hyundai A-League 2013/14 opener against Western Sydney Wanderers at Bluetongue Stadium.
The Mariners- coaching staff – including Head Coach Graham Arnold – have reviewed the Grand Final special, and the former Socceroos boss gave the showpiece episode his tick of approval.
“Nick Piper and his team at Onion TV have done a superb job with the Grand Final episode,” Arnold said. “Throughout the 90 minutes fans gain access to the team-s preparations for the decider and the post-match celebrations.”
“We-re delighted with how the Club has been portrayed throughout the series and, naturally, there could be no better way to end the project than to win the Grand Final. This will be a special and memorable piece of television for many people.”
‘The Code: Life with the Mariners- Grand Final special will be replayed three times leading into the Club-s Hyundai A-League round 1 blockbuster against Tony Popovic-s Wanderers.
Repeat one will be on Tuesday 8 October on Fox Sports 3 at 6:30pm, with repeat two to be shown directly following Sydney FC-s clash with Newcastle Jets on Friday 11 October (10:00pm on Fox Sports 1).
The final Grand Final episode repeat will be shown at 3:30pm on Saturday 12 October on Fox Sports 1 prior to the commencement of the Mariners vs. Wanderers coverage.
The first eight episodes of ‘The Code: Life with the Mariners- will be replayed on Fox Sports between Monday 30 September and Sunday 6 October. Please check local guides for viewing times.
