Australian striker Mitch Austin was one of the exciting new additions to Tony Walmsley’s strike force for the Hyundai A-League 2015/16 season, after signing with the club on a two-year deal in early June from English side Cambridge United. The 24-year-old is a Manly United junior, however he has spent the entirety of his senior career in the UK, completing several spells with English Conference sides such as Cambridge United, Lincoln City, Brackley Town and Southport. Quick and standing at just over six foot, Austin will be an imposing presence in attack for the Mariners and his workmanlike approach to the game will win over many fans when Hyundai A-League Season 11 kicks off.
