Central Coast Mariners Youth will be looking to collect their first win of the Foxtel National Youth League 2013/14 season when they head across the Nullarbor to take on Perth Glory Youth at Percy Doyle Reserve on Sunday.
The junior yellow and navy have picked up two points so far this season, after two draws and two narrow defeats from four matches – a record Patrick Zwaanswijk-s boys are keen to improve upon over the coming rounds.
Last Saturday the mini Mariners played out an entertaining 1-1 draw with Brisbane Roar Youth in Tuggerah. Hyundai A-League forward Adam Kwasnik opened the account for the home side in the 32nd minute before young gun Samuel Sibatuara levelled proceedings for Jeff Hopkins-s side.
The junior purple-whites will also be looking to snatch all three points for the first time this campaign following four consecutive defeats. Perth Glory Youth suffered a heavy 6-1 loss to Newcastle Jets Youth at Wanderers Oval last Saturday.
Several Central Coast Mariners first team players may turn out for Sunday-s clash with the bottom-placed Glory NYL outfit with Kwasnik, Michael Neill and Hayden Morton set to travel west for the match.
