The Central Coast Mariners have received a major boost ahead of their fourth Finals Series appearance in six seasons, with McDonald-s Restaurants on the Central Coast today announcing a sleeve-sponsorship deal for the duration of the club-s Finals campaign.
The deal will see the iconic logo take pride of place on the right sleeve of the Mariners playing strip, starting in Saturday night-s first leg of the Major Semi Final against Brisbane Roar at Bluetongue Stadium.
“We are extremely proud to be able to continue our association and support of the Mariners and we at McDonald-s, along with the community at large wish them every success in the finals series,” said McDonald-s Central Coast stores representative John Ursino.
After the first Australian store opened in Sydney in 1971, McDonald-s now has 12 restaurants on the Central Coast and has established itself as one of the world-s most recognisable brands.
“The Mariners are delighted to be associated with such a successful and recognisable brand as McDonald-s,” said Mariners Chairman Peter Turnbull.
“Their commitment to corporate responsibility and sustainability, while providing healthy options is truly commendable and they set a wonderful example for other companies to follow. It-s an honour to have them on board as we chase a third Grand Final appearance in six seasons.”
