McBreen mischief to benefit Camp Quality

The behind-interview-antics of Central Coast Mariners striker Daniel McBreen have become well known throughout the Hyundai A-League, however now McBreen’s playful pre-game performances will benefit one of Australia’s most important charities.

The behind-interview-antics of Central Coast Mariners striker Daniel McBreen have become well known throughout the Hyundai A-League, however now McBreen-s playful pre-game performances will benefit one of Australia-s most important charities.

In agreement with Fox Sports Football, Central Coast Mariners will make a $100 donation to the Club-s back of short charity partner, Camp Quality, each time McBreen lets loose with one his pre-game comedy routines.

Prior to the start of season nine of Australia-s top flight, the Mariners announced that Camp Quality branding would appear free of charge on the player-s match and training shorts for the duration of the Club-s Championship defence.

Now a Camp Quality Ambassador himself, McBreen will aim to show that laughter truly is the best medicine for sick kids, and help the organisation create a better life for every child living with cancer in Australia.

The agreement between the Mariners and Fox Sports Football was announced on Kick-Off on Friday evening, with McBreen appearing as a guest on show alongside hosts Tara Rushton and respected football pundits, Andy Harper and Mike Cockerill.

McBreen, who was the Hyundai A-League 2012/13 Golden Boot winner, is in line to make his first appearance of the season for the Mariners this Sunday when the Club hosts Brisbane Roar at Gosford-s Bluetongue Stadium.

Camp Quality services and programs help children living with cancer and their families create a better life by building optimism and resilience throughout each stage of their cancer journey.

Right from diagnosis, throughout treatment and in remission or bereavement, their programs support the whole family; at hospital, at home, back at school and in the community.

At Camp Quality fun flows through everything they do, and their motto is ‘laughter is the best medicine-.

Will McBreen provide some humour this weekend when his skipper John Hutchinson is interviewed during Fox Football-s Mariners vs. Roar pre-game show? Be watching Fox Sports 1 & 1HD from 4:30pm AEDT this weekend to find out!
