The Central Coast Mariners are thrilled to announce long-term major partner Mars Food Australia have reaffirmed their saucy relationship with the Club, extending their major partnership via their MASTERFOODS brand until the completion of the 2015/16 Hyundai A-League season.

Mars Food Australia have pledged their support behind the Mariners by extending their financial commitment to the yellow & navy that will see their iconic sauce bottles remain in front of the stadium’s palm trees for the 2015/16 season.

Mars Food Australia are an internationally recognised, locally based company that directly employ over 300 people on The Central Coast with the company’s leading edge factory and head office based just kilometres from The Central Coast Mariners Centre of Excellence in Tuggerah, NSW.

The Mariners have been proud to call MASTERFOODS a major partner since the inception of The Hyundai A-League and have been renowned for innovative activations that have grown to be one of the most effective and recognisable brands in the competition.

MASTERFOODS have occupied the Mariners’ front of shirt since the club’s 2013 Hyundai A-League Championship winning season, Central Coast Mariners Commercial Manager, Mr Grant Cremer, said the Mariners have contributed significantly to the exposure & brand awareness of the MASTERFOODS brand both locally and nationally.

“Through the hard work of both MASTERFOODS and The Mariners, the MASTERFOODS brand has become part and parcel of our football club and the A-League in general, you can’t mention The Mariners without MASTERFOODS: members, fans and the media have really embraced this relationship,” Cremer said.

“But as of today I am overjoyed to confirm that the fan favourite MASTERFOODS sauce bottles, and the MASTERFOODS blimp, will remain iconic and celebrated features of our Hyundai A-League match days at Gosford’s Central Coast Stadium,” Cremer said.

Mars Food Australia’s Chief Financial Officer, Mr Andrew Poll, said the locally based company is proud of the long-standing relationship with the Central Coast Mariners.

“At Mars Food we believe in building strong communities and the benefit that comes from bringing people together to share great food and experiences, with Central Coast Mariners we bring the largest regular community gathering on the Coast to life,” Poll said.

“We want to see both Mars Food and the Mariners strengthen their connections to the people of the Central Coast and see the continuation of our support as a great way of doing just that” he said.

In addition to their range of MASTERFOODS products, Mars Food Australia today offers products to the Australian public in categories as diverse as mustards, marinades, relishes, sauces, herbs and spices, pasta and stir-fry sauces, and rice, through its DOLMIO, KANTONG, and UNCLE BEN’S brands.

For the 2015/16 season Masterfoods will occupy the front of the home jersey and back of the away jersey, thus leaving the front of the away and back of the home jerseys available for a secondary major partner for the 2015/16 campaign.
