CENTRAL Coast Mariners will be looking to return to winning ways at Fortress Bluetongue this Sunday when the Club hosts bitter rivals Brisbane Roar. Kick-off is 5:00pm.

Graham Arnold-s team arrived back from Japan this morning and will spend today recovering before completing their brief preparations for the round 25 fixture on Saturday afternoon.

The yellow and navy lost 3-1 away to Kashiwa Reysol in the AFC Champions League in mid-week, however put in a proud and structured performance in the land of the rising sun.

This will be the third and final time Mariners and Roar will meet in the 2012/13 Hyundai A-League regular season.

In round 8, the Mariners defeated Brisbane 2-1 in Gosford with goals for the home team coming via Bernie Ibini and Tomas Rogic. Massimo Murdocca scored what would prove to be a consolation for the visitors in the 32nd minute of play. 9,084 fans ventured to Bluetongue Stadium on November 25.

On matchday 19, goals from Daniel McBreen and Michael McGlinchey ensured Central Coast Mariners earned a point from their visit to Queensland’s Suncorp Stadium. Besart Berisha netted a brace for Brisbane in that encounter.

Arnold has named a squad of 20 players for the encounter, including the four senior players who missed the mid-week trip to Japan for AFC Champions League Matchday 2. Joshua Rose, Pedj Bojic, Mile Sterjovski and McBreen are all in the frame to participate against Roar.

Pedj Bojic has received the most yellow cards in all meetings between the two clubs, having earned the ire of the referee ten times. The retired Danny Tiatto is the most carded Roar player in clashes between the two clubs (3).
