Mariners ticketing and supporter bus info ahead of HUGE week

Another huge week is in store for Central Coast Mariners, with two potentially season-defining fixtures coming up on Saturday following a historic midweek fixture at Our Paradise.

Mark Jackson’s Mariners are preparing for a massive AFC Cup Inter-Zonal Final second-leg on Wednesday evening, 7pm at Our Paradise.

A place in the AFC Cup Final is all to play for, after a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Abdysh-Ata Kant in Kyrgyzstan last week. Success in the second leg would see Jackson’s team make history.

Travel difficulties forced Sunday’s scheduled Isuzu UTE A-League game against Adelaide unfortunately postponed, with Jacko and the team arriving just in time to receive the Club Championship on Sunday and preparation for Wednesday resuming at Mariners Centre of Excellence on Monday.

The Mariners would be the first Australian club to ever reach the AFC Cup Final, whilst we are looking to become the final ever winners of the trophy, as the competition will be replaced by the Champions League 2 as of next season.

Only two A-League teams have ever made Continental Finals, (Adelaide – ACL runners up 2008, WSW – ACL Winners 2014), so the Mariners would join an exclusive list in Australian football.

SATURDAY 21ST APRIL

Mariners family, you have a tough decision to make… Where will you spend your Saturday?

SYDNEY FC (A) – 3PM

At 3pm at Leichhardt Oval, our Liberty A-League side are still in the fight for a Grand Final place as they take on Sydney FC.

The Mariners have a one-goal deficit to make up after Saturday’s closely-contested first leg at Our Paradise.

Emily Husband says the team are ‘raring to go already’ and will look to continue their fine away form this season as they bid to make the Grand Final in their return season.

NEWCASTLE JETS (A) – 5:15PM

At 5:15pm, our Isuzu UTE A-League side face a huge F3 Derby at McDonald Jones Stadium.

The final away match and penultimate game of the regular season sees Mark Jackson’s side in with a chance of securing the Premiers Plate this weekend.

Should Wellington drop points in their final game of the season against Macarthur, also kicking-off at 5:15pm, a win will secure the silverware on Saturday.
