Tickets for the fourth annual Central Coast Mariners Medal dinner at the Mingara Recreation Club on Friday, 6 March are on sale and selling fast, with Mariners members and supporters invited to commemorate the club-s recent Hyundai A-League season and look forward to a first campaign in Asia.

For $130, Mariners members and supporters will be able to enjoy the opulence and glamour of one of the marquee evenings of the Central Coast social calendar, where the Mariners will crown their player of the year, as voted by the players, with the prestigious Mariners Medal.

Tickets include a three-course meal and drinks in addition to live entertainment and a chance to mix it with the Mariners playing squad and coaching staff shortly before they embark on their maiden continental quest.

Aside from the Mariners Medal, other awards to be presented on the evening are the Goal of the Year, as voted by the Marinators, the Mariners- vocal supporters group, the Chairman-s Award, which is presented to a club person that has demonstrated excellence in their chosen field and the Golden Boot, which this season has been won by Matt Simon thanks to his record eleven-goal haul.

“We-re again looking forward to a fantastic evening at the Mingara Recreation Club, who we thank again for their tremendous support of the Mariners Medal and our club generally,” said Mariners Executive Chairman Lyall Gorman.

“The Mariners Medal has become one of the more memorable evenings of the local social calendar and this year promises to be no different as we reflect on what was another successful Hyundai A-League season in many respects and look forward to a very exciting and challenging AFC Champions League campaign.

“I encourage our members and supporters to join us for what will be a fitting evening to farewell the season that was and turn over a new leaf in respect to the fast approaching AFC Champions League.”
