ARNOLD: “I came over one day early to watch play Vissel Kobe in Kobe on Saturday night. Obviously I am very impressed with the J-League. For me it-s the premier competition in Asia and it-s an example for a lot of the other Asian countries to follow the way the J-League is structured and also the football is played. I felt that Grampus were probably the better side on the night, even though it was only 1-0 they could have won by two or three. They are a very strong side. So they-ve got a lot of National Team players. They will give is a very big challenge tomorrow night.”
WILKINSON: “Obviously in the first round when we played Grampus in Australia it was a 1-all draw. I thought Nagoya was only two games into their season when they came over to play us so we as a team are expecting them to be much more fit, and much more polished, I suppose … We-re expecting a much harder challenge, and obviously them being at home with the home crowd it is going to be very difficult for us … We set ourselves a goal of qualifying for the second round and if we can beat Grampus we will achieve this so we are very excited.”
