The Central Coast Mariners and Cleanaway have joined forces for an exciting partnership to support the 2021 Pink Round home game, with Australia’s leading total waste management, industrial and environmental services company taking pride of place on the front of the new pink jersey.
The new pink jersey by Umbro is the ninth of its kind, and the Mariners have helped to raise more than $100,000 for charity through the Pink Round so far. In 2021, the target is $10,000 to be achieved through several different activations, including the Mariners match against Macarthur on March 8th, International Women’s Day.
We're excited to announce that our annual Pink Round will return for it's 9th year, when we take on Macarthur in our next @ALeague home game. #CCMFC #WontBackDown #PinkRound

David Clancy, General Manager, Cleanaway Solid Waste Services NSW, said that the company was excited to be on board with the Mariners and continue their support of the Central Coast community.
“Cleanaway is proud to be the Central Coast Mariners Community Partner for 2021,” he said.
“We have been supporting the Central Coast for many years as the Council’s waste services provider as well as providing sustainable options for businesses in the region and of course in our role as logistics provider to the Return and Earn scheme.
“We have many employees who live on the Central Coast and are proud to be supporting their community and the region’s number one sporting code.
“Sponsoring the Pink Round is something we are particularly proud of to recognise the importance of women in our community, and specifically women’s health.
“We also recognise that supporting the Pink Round also supports the many partners, families and communities that are impacted. It is exciting to be part of the event.”
“We are looking forward to working with the Mariners to promote sustainability and recycling on the Central Coast. Recycling and good waste management is such a critical part of a healthy community and how we are making a sustainable future possible for all Australians.”
Each year Cleanaway lifts 40 million bins from households, performs more than 450,000 bulky waste clean ups from kerb sides and has collected 2 billion containers through the Container Deposit Scheme.
Central Coast Mariners CEO Shaun Mielekamp welcomed Cleanaway’s involvement in the Pink Round and their support of the community.
“We are very proud to partner with Cleanaway in 2021 for our Pink Round to not only raise money for charity and create cancer awareness, but also to celebrate International Women’s Day,” he said.
“Cleanaway have connected with us to help empower and recognise women in football and the wider community, and we believe they are the perfect organisation to partner with for this event.”
