After a weekend away from match play, Central Coast Mariners will return to action this Saturday when the team takes on Perth Glory in Western Australia.

The game against Alistair Edwards-s purple-whites will be Phil Moss-s first as Head Coach of the Mariners, after the former Manly United mentor took over from Graham Arnold late last week.

The Mariners returned to the training track this morning in inclement conditions on the New South Wales Central Coast. The region has been the subject of widespread rain over the past 48 hours.

Nevertheless, with conditions expected to improve as the week progresses, the Mariners will be seeking a smooth preparation and a tip-top performance against their rivals from across the Nullarbor, as they seek to commence their climb up the competition ladder.
