Mariners and Star 104.5 spend week visiting Central Coast schools

Last week the Central Coast Mariners were out and about, visiting schools from all around the region. In partnership with our friends at Star 104.5, Mariners players visited nine schools from Monday until Friday, coinciding with Star 104.5’s School Project.

The week started at Woy Woy Public school, with Cameron Windust and Yaren Sozer joining Rabbit and Gina on Monday morning. The duo played football games with the students and signed autographs, having an awesome time.

Bateau Bay Public was the second school of the week, with Dylan Wenzel-Halls and James Bayliss meeting students on Tuesday morning.

Wednesday marked a special occasion, with Point Clare Public School selected to be the first to see the Mariners Pink Jersey for the 2022/23 season. Fitted with front of shirt sponsor Star 104.5, Rabbit, Gina and the student’s saw the new design as the jersey was officially presented.

That afternoon Brian Kaltak and Nectar Triantis visited Wamberal Public School, answering student’s questions in a Q&A assembly.

James McGarry had a great time at Blue Haven Public School, playing with some animals from the Reptile Park and taking photos with students.

Moresche and Storm Roux went to Woodport Public School while they took part in Mariners Mufti Day, speaking to students and enjoying their time with the youngsters. The lads went to Berkely Vale on that afternoon as well, alongside Empire Bay.

The week was concluded with a visit to Kariong Public School, where Brad Tapp and Sasha Kuzevski spent Friday morning kicking footballs and signing autographs with students.

Thank you to all of the schools who opened their gates to our players, the team loved meeting each and every one of the students!
