Kye Rowles joined the Mariners from Brisbane Roar for the 2017/18 Hyundai A-League season. The former Australian Institute of Sport graduate made two Hyundai A-League appearances for Brisbane Roar, making his first competitive start for Brisbane in a AFC Champions League game against Ulsan Hyundai. The dynamic defender was also a regular in the Australian U-17’s squad and appeared at the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
