With seven players unavailable for Sunday’s match against Melbourne City, Paul Okon has thrown his support behind a number of Foxtel National Youth League young-guns who have been named in a provisional squad. Kick-off is 5pm this Sunday at Central Coast Stadium.

Connor Pain & Wout Brama were first half casualties during our match against Newcastle and will miss Sunday’s clash with hamstring injuries.
Danny De Silva, Trent Buhagiar & Tom Glover all remain unavailable through national team duty whilst Josh Rose and Andrew Hoole will both serve a one week suspension.
This paves the way for a number of Mariners’ young guns to impress, with Peter Kekeris, Jack Kuipers and Lachlan Wales all training with the first team and available for selection this weekend.
Terrigal junior, Lachlan Wales is a familiar face to Mariners’ fans having featured during the club’s last two matches which included an assist in the equaliser against Melbourne Victory. This Sunday could see Wales feature at Central Coast Stadium for the first time in the Hyundai A-League in front of his family and friends.
18-year-old Kekeris is also a quick wide attacker and one of the most exciting young prospects in the club’s Foxtel National Youth League squad. 20-year-old Kuipers spent a year with the Southampton Youth Set up in England and can be deployed defensively in the back four, or as a holding midfielder.
Our super subs, @lachie_wales & Blake Powell weren't muckin' around ? They teamed up to have an instant impact last night against @gomvfc @FOXFOOTBALL highlights ? https://t.co/eoW2nRGfZe #ALeague pic.twitter.com/ZgcKxvGlJH
