On Tuesday, Central Coast Mariners Dutch defender Patrick Zwaanswijk was the unsuspecting victim of some first-class teasing from his teammates.

With the boys having worked with club radio partner SEA FM to stitch-up the former FC Utrecht stopper with a ‘Gotchya Call-, Zwaanswijk could have been forgiven for believing he may have had to find a new boot supplier for Hyundai A-League season 8.

To his credit, big Zwaany took the gag in his normal good-natured way (ultimately, at least!) and gave us the go-ahead to share the joke online.
