Alen Stajcic has named his squad for Hyundai A-League round six as the Central Coast Mariners get set to return home at Central Coast Stadium.
Michael McGlinchey and Kye Rowles have both been omitted for the clash with Adelaide United after jetting off on international duty, with Daniel DeSilva originally set to join Rowles in the Olyroos squad before being side-lined due to injury.
Their ommissions mean that a number of youngsters have been called in, with John Roberts and Dylan Ruiz-Diaz both added by Stajcic after scoring on Young Socceroos duty, while fullback Lewis Miller comes into the fray for the first time after signing a scholarship contract with the club last month.
The Mariners will be looking to rebound from last Friday’s loss to Melbourne City at AAMI Park, and Saturday’s game takes on some extra meaning as the club helps to celebrate McHappy Day and support the Ronald McDonald House Charity.
