Alen Stajcic has named an almost unchanged 20-man preliminary squad for Saturday’s Hyundai A-League round eight clash with Brisbane Roar at Suncorp Stadium.
Abraham Majok and Dylan Fox have been added to the squad from from Sunday’s win over Western United, with no omissions for just the second time this season.
Milan Ðurić was a late inclusion for last weekend’s win and remains in the squad as he works his way back from a hip complaint, while new signing Jair will be given more time to nurse a slight quad issue with the Mariners sitting out next weekend for their second bye of the season.
Stajcic and the squad will depart for Brisbane on Friday where they will look to break a 15-match winless streak in the league against the Roar, albeit having won their most recent competitive encounter with a penalty shootout victory in the FFA Cup Round of 16 at Dolphin Stadium.
