Central Coast Mariners are pleased to announce the signing of exciting youngster Noah Hooper on a scholarship contract ahead of the Isuzu UTE A-League 2026/27 season.
The 16-year-old is an explosive right-footed winger, with blistering pace, direct attacking intent and excellent one-on-one ability among his standout attributes.
Hooper arrives on the Central Coast as one of Australia’s most exciting young prospects after progressing through the Western Sydney Wanderers Academy, and has enjoyed a remarkable 2026.
He represented Football NSW at the Emerging Socceroos Championships in April before earning selection in Football Australia’s Under-16 Domestic Training Camp earlier this month.
Arguably the highlight of his year came at the 2026 Liam Brady Cup, where he claimed the Golden Boot at the prestigious international youth tournament, hosted by Arsenal and competing against elite academies from around the world, including Feyenoord, Sparta Prague, Nottingham Forest and Panathinaikos.
Winning the Golden Boot against such high-quality opposition is a testament to Hooper’s talent and potential, with his arrival further reflecting the Mariners’ commitment to identifying and developing the country’s brightest young footballers.
Signing his scholarship contract with the Mariners marks another significant milestone in what has already been a memorable year for the young winger.
