Following a thrilling penalty shootout win over Brisbane Roar in the Round of 16, the Central Coast Mariners have drawn NPL Victoria’s Hume City in the 2019 Quarter Finals on Tuesday, September 17.
Mark Birighitti saved penalties from Roy O’Donovan and Thomas Aldred in the shootout to secure victory for the club he signed with less than a month ago, after first Matt Simon and then Sam Silvera gave the Mariners one-goal leads earlier in the night only to be pegged back by the Roar.
That was for the badge, that was for the Coast.
Soak it up, Central Coast! ?
