CENTRAL Coast Mariners finished last season as Hyundai A-League Premiers, resulting in qualification to the 2013 AFC Champions League.

Next year, the Club will compete in Asia-s top club competition for the third time.

The Mariners first entered the competition in 2009, exiting without a win.

Earlier this year the yellow and navy competed against Asia-s elite once more, winning their first ever match in Asia-s version of the UEFA Champions League.

Indeed, Graham Arnold-s men treated fans to a dominant display at Central Coast Stadium, smashing five past a hapless Tianjin Teda outfit to win 5-1. Daniel McBreen netted a brace in the clash.

Unfortunately, the win, combined with three draws throughout the group stage, wasn-t enough to see the Mariners progress to the knockout stages of the competition.

The Mariners will find out in December who they will face in the group stages of their third foray into Asia.
